POPCORN CHICKEN






     KFC style popcorn chicken is very easy to prepare at home with fewer ingredients.  Kids like popcorn chicken very much.  It is a delicious, flavored, crispy fried texture.  It is enjoyable with any sauce/schezwan sauce.  My children are enjoying this crunchy Popcorn Chicken very much.  Today, I prepared with my own style of preparation, but it doesn't less than the flavor of KFC chicken.  We use skinless & boneless chicken for this recipe. This is the best snack item in Non-Vegetarian.  It is a very simple, easy, and quick recipe.
Let's start to prepare Popcorn Chicken:

INGREDIENTS: 

  • Boneless Chicken - 250 grams
  •  (small pieces)
  • Corn flour/Maida (All purpose flour) - 3 spoons
  • Egg - one
  • Salt - 1/2 spoon
  • Red Chilli powder - 1/2 spoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 spoon
  • Ginger garlic paste - 1 spoon
  • Pepper - 1/4 spoon
  • Garam masala -1/2 spoon
  • Lemon juice - 1/2 spoon

Marination of Chicken:


     Take a clean vessel to add boneless chicken, Red chili powder, Turmeric powder, Salt, Ginger garlic paste, Garam masala, Egg (if you don't want, remove egg yolk), Pepper, Corn flour and mix it well. Leave it for half an hour to increase the taste of Popcorn Chicken.

Preparation of Popcorn Chicken:





  • Take the Cornflour in a bowl.
  • Heat the oil in a big vessel.
  • Take marinated chicken one by one and dip into the Cornflour.
  • Drop the chicken pieces into the hot oil.
  • Fry it 10 to 15 minutes at low flame.
  • Keep stirring all chicken pieces to fry evenly.
  • Bring out all fried popcorn chicken and place it on tissue paper, then the excess oil will be absorbed.
  • Popcorn chicken is ready to serve with ketchup/sauce.

Preparation time: 30 minutes.

TIPS:




  • Use boneless chicken only (small pieces)
  • Don't heat the oil too much, why because the texture and taste of the Popcorn chicken will be changed.
  • Don't add too much of Cornflour for marination.
  • Don't add more lemon juice, it will become sour.
  • Use small pieces of chicken which are cooked very fast.


Popcorn chicken is very easy to prepare and it is a perfect snack item and kids like very much this dish, beginners also prepare it easy method and it is crispy chicken, and enjoy the evenings and rainy day.

TAMARIND RICE / PULIHORA Tamarind rice common name is pulihora/ puliyodarai, puliyogare which is a popular rice recipe in south Indian states Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka.  ANDHRA CHICKEN CURRY Chicken curry is one of my favorite recipes and today I am preparing Andhra chicken curry. In Andhra Pradesh, Chicken curry prepared in various methods, but through this post, I share a tasty and famous chicken curry. Its preparation is very easy and the taste is amazing. In south Indian people like this chicken curry with white rice and dosa. Many people like dosa- chicken curry combination in breakfast.
