GOAT- LAMB HEAD CURRY
Today I am preparing a different recipe and it is very easy to prepare within half an hour.LAMB- GOAT head curry taste is amazing,once you eat this curry , you never leave it.
Before cooking process , here very important preparation that cleaning the goat head. The butcher first of all burnt the goat head on the fire, why because all the hair of goat head burnt and it became black colour, now the butcher cut the goat head into small pieces.We will prepare goat head curry with these goat head small pieces .
Goat head curry is very much interested in my family especially to my dad and my husband.I prepared this goat head curry monthly once in my home.
LET'S START TO PREPARE GOAT HEAD CURRY:
INGREDIENTS:
- Goat head - 1kg
- Onions - 4 (big size)
- Ginger- garlic paste - 2 spoons
- Coconut - 1
- Red chilli Powder -3 spoons
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 spoon
- Salt - 1 1/2 spoon
- Garam masala powder - 1 spoon
- Coriander leaves -2 spoons
- Oil -5 spoons
- Cumin/ jeera seeds - 1/4 spoon
- Ilachi -2
- Somphu/ fennel seeds -1/4 spoon
- Cloves -2
- First of all clean the goat head properly.
- Make a fine paste with onion pieces by the help of mixer jar.
- Take a soft coconut and cut into small pieces,make a paste and keep it aside.
- Now heat a big pressure cooker add oil, cumin seeds, somfu, ilachi, cloves and roast it well.
- Add onion paste and roast it in medium flame at three minutes.
- Add ginger- garlic paste and again roast it for three to four minutes.
- Add goat head pieces,Salt,turmeric powder and cook it for ten minutes in medium flame with closed lid.
- Open the lid,add red chilli Powder and cook it for five minutes.
- Now add coconut paste, garam masala powder, coriander leaves in the pressure cooker, mix it well and close the lid ,wait for four whistles.
- Switch off the stove and wait for sometime to cooling the pressure cooker.
- Yummy and tasty goat head curry is ready to serve.
