BABY CORN CURRY

BABY CORN-CAPSICUM GRAVY                                               Corn has different varieties but in that baby corn is a separate variety. It is a healthy diet and an easy cook. It has a rich source of proteins and fibers. I am preparing a new recipe to use baby corn and capsicum. It is not less than restaurant recipes. Let's start to prepare baby corn curry: Ingredients: Baby corn - 10 Capsicum - 1 Egg - 2 Onions - 2 Tomatoes - 2 Ginger-garlic paste - 3 spoons Garam masala - 2 spoons Salt - One and a half spoon Red chili powder - Two and a half spoons Turmeric powder - 1/2 spoon Oil - 4 spoons Cashew nuts - 8 Sompu / Fennel seeds - 1/4 spoon    Cumin seeds / Jeera - 1/4 spoon Coriander leaves - Two stems Masala Preparation: Heat the pan add oil, onion pieces, tomatoes, Cashew nuts, and roast it well in medium flame. Gutthi vankaya curry/Brinjal masala curry Description: Brinjal masala curry/Guthi vankaya curry is one of the famous curries in South India. It is made in different styles in different places. Three varieties of brinjal are available in AP & Telangana but I prefer round or oval shape brinjal. This delicious curry is made in my own way and can be prepared easily. TAMARIND RICE / PULIHORA Tamarind rice common name is pulihora/ puliyodarai, puliyogare which is a popular rice recipe in south Indian states Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka. Puli means sour in Tamil. Today I am preparing the Andhra style of tamarind rice which is a mouth-watering rice dish. Pulihora made up of tamarind, lemon. South Indians must prepare pulihora in every festival. It is the traditional, ancient prasadam that is prepared to pray to god. Today I use tamarind and lemon both in the preparation of pulihora. AMARANTH  LEAVES CURRY/ KOYYATHOTAKURA CURRY                   Amaranth curry is a Green leaves curry (which is called Koyyathotakura curry in Andhra Pradesh). There are different varieties of Amaranth(Koyyathotakura) available in all countries such as Red Amaranth, Green Amaranth, etc. Amaranth has a rich source of vitamins and minerals.                    I am using Green amaranth to prepare this curry which was my Grand mother's recipe. The process to prepare this curry is very simple. Those who like green leafy vegetables, they will definitely like this recipe. Some special ingredients are also added in this recipe and this can be stored for one week also.                    During my childhood days, I was not interested to eat Green leafy vegetables. JACK FRUIT SEEDS CURRY Jack fruits are seasonal fruits, everybody knows it but most people don't know the nutritional values of these seeds. The seeds have a rich source of protein, vitamins, and minerals, etc. I am preparing Jack Fruit Seeds Curry in my own style. Let's start to prepare curry; Ingredients: Jack fruit seeds - 2 cups Green peas - 1 cup Onions - 3 Tomatoes -1 Ginger - 3 spoons Garlic - 5 cloves Oil - 6 spoons Salt - 1 spoon Red chili powder - 1 spoon Turmeric powder - 1/2 spoon Garam masala - 1 spoon Butter - 1 spoon Coriander leaves - 2 spoons Cumin seeds - 1/2 spoon Fennel seeds - 1/2 seeds Preparation: Boil jack fruit seeds for 4-5 whistles in a cooker. PUTTU Puttu is made up of steamed rice flour and grated coconut. It is very popular in Kerala in INDIA and Sri Lanka. It is also called pittu. It is steamed recipe and sprinkling sugar or jaggery. It is breakfast in Kerala. It is eaten with a side dish like fish curry, prawn fry etc.we can use ragi flour also. It is a very easy dish and quick recipe. DRY SHRIMP POWDER Shrimps are harvested in many parts of the world. S hrimps  dried in  Sun are the  common preserved food. It has nutritional values and more benefits to health. The small shrimps have vitamins like A, E, C, B -12, Minerals, Iodine, Copper, Zinc. Shrimps are the best resource for Selenium. We can make various varieties of recipes with dry shrimps.
