BABY CORN-CAPSICUM GRAVY
Corn has different varieties but in that baby corn is a separate variety. It is a healthy diet and an easy cook. It has a rich source of proteins and fibers. I am preparing a new recipe to use baby corn and capsicum. It is not less than restaurant recipes.
Let's start to prepare baby corn curry:
Ingredients:
- Baby corn - 10
- Capsicum - 1
- Egg - 2
- Onions - 2
- Tomatoes - 2
- Ginger-garlic paste - 3 spoons
- Garam masala - 2 spoons
- Salt - One and a half spoon
- Red chili powder - Two and a half spoons
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 spoon
- Oil - 4 spoons
- Cashew nuts - 8
- Sompu / Fennel seeds - 1/4 spoon
- Cumin seeds / Jeera - 1/4 spoon
- Coriander leaves - Two stems
Masala Preparation:
- Heat the pan add oil, onion pieces, tomatoes, Cashew nuts, and roast it well in medium flame.
- Keep for some time for cooling purposes.
- Make a fine paste in the mixer jar.
Baby corn Preparation:
- Take a bowl to add baby corn pieces, salt, Turmeric powder, red chili powder, ginger garlic paste, egg,garam masala, and lemon juice.
- Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
- Heat the big vessel add oil for deep fry.
- When the oil is heated, then drop the marinated baby corns one by one into the hot oil.
- Fry it in medium flame.
- Fry all baby corns and keep it in a vessel.
Gravy Preparation:
- Heat a big vessel add oil, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, and prepared masala.
- Roast it at low flame. Now add ginger garlic paste and roast it well.
- Add capsicum and roast for 5minutes.
- Add red chili powder, Turmeric powder, salt,garam masala, and fried baby corn.
- Add half a glass of water and cook it for ten minutes in low flame.
- Finally, add coriander leaves.
Yummy and tasty Baby corn gravy ready to serve with roti, pulkas, bread. The baby corn not only looks non-veg but also tastes as similar to non-veg. Try this recipe in your home and enjoy it with your family members.
