PANEER PREPARATION AT HOME:

  • Most of the people know that how to make paneer at home. But I want to share the process of paneer making at home.
  • Pour 5 or 6 packets of milk in a big vessel and boil it, after boiling the milk keep it in low flame.
  • Now  pour lemon (3 or 4) juice in the boiled milk, mix well with the help of big spatula.
  • If lemons aren't available in our home, we can use vinegar also.
  • It turns into curdled milk, now switch off the stove and filter the curdled milk with the help of clean cotton cloth.
  • Now tie that cloth with filtered curdled milk tight and place weight on it.
  • Leave it for 2 hours until it is dried i.e., water is fully removed from curdled milk.
  • Now, panner is prepared. Keep the paneer in the refrigerator.
  • Paneer is ready to cook for any recipes.
  • We can preserve paneer for three days in the refrigerator ( do not keep in high cool).
  • When ever you want paneer cut them into square cubes or whichever shape you want to and you can use them.
  • If the paneer is hard, keep the paneer cubes in boiling water for five minutes, then paneer will get into soft texture.

We know some recipes with paneer like paneer 65, paneer manchuriya,  paneer curry etc. Today I am preparing paneer green peas curry in restaurant style. The process is very easy, quick and simple. It is best combination with roti, pulka and  with bread also.
